Hi! I’m Sarah, the owner and face behind Sweet Valley Treats. I have always enjoyed baking, and believe that all of life’s big and little moments deserve to be celebrated. So, why not celebrate with something yummy?

After college, I started baking and decorating outside of the box and can. Aka, I moved from using mixes and pre-made things to making and decorating treats from scratch. It is fun and exciting to watch ingredients come together into something yummy and bring the treat to life through decorating with icing, candy, sprinkles, and more. I have taken a few decorating classes but am mostly self-taught and am always looking to challenge myself, try something new, and expand my skills.

After years of showing up at parties and get togethers with something I’d made “just because,” friends and family (and then friends of those friends and family) started asking if I could create desserts for their special events. I quickly discovered that I love working with each person to figure out exactly what they want for their event and thrive on creating something unique for them. I love that everything I create is made-to-order, from scratch, ensuring that no two things are exactly the same and each person gets a new spin on an idea.

I am so grateful for all of the support I’ve received thus far. And I look forward to continuing to make custom treats for my customers!
